I study the all things stream. My research has been mostly focusing on stream ecology and aquatic bioassessment. I worked with a variety of aquatic organisms, such as freshwater fish, crayfish, and mussels. However, I am especially intrigued by the tiny larvae of freshwater macroinvertebrates. For my Ph.D., I hope to continue my work on benthic macroinvertebrates and broaden my field of research by branching out and integrating biogeochemistry into my work.
